Congratulations again to Ludovica Dei for her second article published on Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry as communication: "Unlocking Peptoid Diversity through Post-Functionalizable Chiral Scaffolds, via Modular, Divergent and Side-Chain Protecting-Group-Free Synthesis".
Pictured here is what could have been the Graphical Abstract: a carefully hand-painted artistic interpretation of the work. 🎨
However, I respected Ludo’s authority as first author, and she opted for a more conventional ChemDraw version instead.
My artistic sensitivity was deeply wounded… but science is all about compromise. 😔😂
So, since it didn’t make it into the paper, I decided that our website would have deserved the honor.

Congratulations to Ludovica Dei for her first article, just published and open access!! A synthetic platform based on a convergent synthetic strategy enables rapid access to a diverse amphiphilic glycopeptoids library. These modular systems exhibit self-assembly into nanoscale aggregates, highlighting their potential as customizable platforms for drug delivery, biomimetic materials, and membrane protein stabilization.
