I am really greatful to Prof. Valentina Domenici that invited me to teach a lesson for the course of "Fundamentals and Methodologies for teaching Chemistry". We realized a didactic project which aims to strengthen teaching strategies through the use of museum objects. Starting from this box of 'aggressive chemicals' used from 1923 to 1945, we explained to the students the relationship between chemistry and war, addressing historical themes and ethical reflections on the role of scientists and the delicate interconnections between science, society, and culture. Such approach could be of interest for many insightful discussions in the class, with the collaboration of other teachers from different fields.
