I am really proud that my first PhD student, Fabiana Cordella, successfully defended her PhD thesis, yesterday 30/05/2025! It was a privilege to mentor a young researcher in her pathway towards scientific independence and professional career. I am especially grateful to UB-Care, the company that shared with us this journey, through a PON doctoral system, showing an enlightened vision for the future and being an excellent collaborator along these years. A great thanks as well at my collegue Prof. Elisa Martinelli for sharing the responsability of mentorship and taking care of the polymeric part of the project. To Dr. Sophie Faure and Prof. C. Taillefumier for hosting Fabiana during her doctoral period abroad at the Institut de Chimie de Clermont-Ferrand. Congratulations Doctor Fabiana Cordella!!
