We participated to the ncAAs2024 conference in Paris! Non-Canonical Amino Acids: Tools for Biological and Biophysical Investigations. I was really proud of the contribution that Fabiana and Ludovica could bring to the conference. The plenary lectures were extremely interesting and we could all learn a lot about a field with many potential applications and fundamental questions. I particularly appreciated the intervention of Prof. Norbert Sewald on "Methodology for Late-Stage peptide diversification and protein modification", Prof. Jason Chin on "Reprogramming the Genetic Code" and Dr. Klara Hlouchova on "Why these 20 amino acids and could life function with a different set?". Looking forward for the next ncAA conference in two years!
