Congratulations to Fabiana and all co-authors for our new article published on Carbohydrate Polymer Technologies and Applications with the title: "Effect of poly(ethylene glycol)-based cross-linker length on the physicochemical and rheological properties of hyaluronic acid hydrogels potentially applicable in the biomedical field. This work is the result of a fruitful collaboration with the company UB-Care. The article is now open access and describe the influence of the cross-linker chain length on hyaluronic acid-based materials, investigating its physicochemical, mechanical, and rheological properties.
A great thank you to Prof. Corinne Fruit, for inviting me as a Visiting at Université de Rouen for a week. I could meet many new collegues and learn about their work. I could present as well my research and give lecture for master students. Moreover, I had the pleasure to attend the final exams of the students from Rouen that completed their stage at the Università di Pisa. I wish you all the best for a brilliant future!!
"The MCAA Academy Mentoring program" is the new pilot programme for MCAA members that connects mentors with mentees interested in fields in the public sector, including policy, education, healthcare, and beyond, fostering professional growth and personal development. As an MC Alumni I feel the responsability and the privilege to contribute as a Mentor in a great program tailored to help young scientists. It is a way for me to give back something to the MC action that had such a positive impact in my life. I hope to contribute meaningfully to the task I was entrusted with.
